Fresher prices, and a new home
What Wingman shows you is now searched again first, an alert waits for a fresh price, and Wingman moved to wingmanfares.com.
Fresher prices
A price is only worth something if it's still there. So the prices you see now come first:
- What the app shows is searched again before anything else once it gets old: after half an hour for a flight this week, up to six hours for one months away.
- Old side prices stop counting. A price from a separate search, such as a self-transfer's half or a round-trip ticket, no longer counts once it's too old to trust, until it's searched again.
- Alerts wait for a fresh price. A new low that rests on an older price is searched again first, and you hear about it once it's confirmed.
- Compare sites asks Google again when you open it and its price is more than five minutes old.
A new home
Wingman now lives at wingmanfares.com, with the app at app.wingmanfares.com. The old addresses send you to the new ones, so bookmarks keep working. Emails come from hello@wingmanfares.com, which is also where to write with anything at all. And Wingman is on Instagram as @wingmanfares.
